How do I get connected to the Holy Cross network?

Network Registration

All devices requiring a WiFi connection, (i.e. laptops, netbooks, Amazon Kindles, tablets, Xbox’s, Wii, Sony Playstation, Web enabled TV’s, Roku’s)  must be registered or authenticated to use the network. Most devices should be capable of connecting wirelessly to HCWireless.  In some cases additional registration steps may be required.

Wired Connections

Using an ethernet cable plugged into the purple jacks, will automatically be assigned the HC network with out registration.

Wireless Connections

Devices, supporting 802.1x authentication, cell phones, tablets, laptops, should connect to HCWireless. When prompted for a login, enter your network username and passphrase.

Connecting Gaming Console and other devices

Most gaming consoles and devices such as Wii’s, AppleTV’s, Roku’s, Amazon Fire TV family products, are not capable of connecting to HCWireless but should connect to HCGuest without authentication or additional registration. Follow the Network Registration instructions to self register your device.

Troubleshooting Network Registration Issues

If your device only prompts for a password and does not allow for WPA2-Enterprise connections, change to the HCGuest wireless network
