When you apply to Holy Cross, we want to get to know you. We hope to learn about your talents and passions — the things that really move you — so we can get a sense of how you will grow from and contribute to our community. 

First Year Applicants

Early Decision

We offer Early Decision and Regular Decision admissions for first-year applicants. Please note that applying Early Decision represents a binding commitment to attend Holy Cross if admitted, and that those deadlines follow an accelerated schedule. All first-year applications require:

  1. Common Application or Coalition Application
  2. High School Transcript
  3. Two Letters of Recommendation
  4. Application fee of $60

* All students are highly encouraged to participate in an admissions interview.

Transfer Applicants

Fall Transfer
Deadline: 
Sunday, April 1, 2018
Hear back: June 1
Spring Transfer
Deadline: 
Wednesday, November 1, 2017
Hear back: Rolling

Holy Cross welcomes second- and third-year transfer students, although space is often very limited. Transfers can apply for the spring or fall semester according to their respective deadlines. All transfer applications require:

  1. Common Application or Coalition Application
  2. High School and Current College Transcript
  3. Two Faculty Letters of Recommendation
  4. Official College Report 
  5. Course Descriptions

* All transfer students are highly encouraged to participate in an admissions interview.

International Applicants

Early Decision

We welcome applications from international students, but financial aid for these applicants is limited. International applicants may apply Early Decision or Regular Decision. Applying Early Decision represents a commitment to attend Holy Cross if admitted, and those deadlines follow a tighter schedule. All international applications require: 

  1. Common Application or Coalition Application
  2. Certification of Finances
  3. Bank Letter or Financial Affidavit
  4. TOEFL or IELTS (for non-native English speakers)
