Our Mission

Holy Cross is dedicated to the health and wellbeing of the community. The Campus & Community Health Team serves to monitor routine illness and emerging diseases, implement preventative health measures, and provide guidance and education to community members.

What We Do

The Campus & Community Health Team empowers the college community with the knowledge, resources, and support necessary to achieve and maintain optimal health. We are dedicated to fostering a campus environment that prioritizes the health, well-being, safety, and personal growth of our students. Through education, prevention, and care, we work collaboratively to create a healthier and more vibrant campus, ensuring that all members can thrive academically and personally. Our commitment extends to addressing infectious and communicable diseases, STI screening and education, and emerging public health concerns. For Students: Health Services

Health Services provides essential health services in identifying and diagnosing illness.

Know Your STI Status-Express STI Clinic NOW OPEN!

Express STI testing is now available at Health Services to all students.

We’ve heard your requests and have developed a quick and easy way to access STI Testing. Starting now, the Express STI Testing Clinic is available on Thursdays from 10am-12pm and 1-3pm. Schedule online at the Holy Cross Patient Portal. When you arrive for your appointment, you will complete a brief form on your phone that allows you to select your STI tests. The form provides basic information about each test to help you decide which STI tests are right for you.

Testing available at the Express STI Clinic:

-Gonorrhea

-Chlamydia

-HIV

-Pregnancy

You’ll then provide your samples and be able to continue on with your day. No need to provide a sexual history to a clinician, and no exam. Your test results will be sent to you via secure message within 3-5 business days if negative. If positive, you will be called by a clinician to discuss the next steps. Please note, this clinic is designed for screening tests only. If you have STI symptoms or a known exposure, please schedule a regular visit with Health Services. If you don’t feel comfortable selecting your own tests or would like advice from a clinician, you are always welcome to schedule a regular visit.
