Our Community

The community of Holy Cross is bonded by a sense of purpose, providing a transformative educational experience for students.

We Are Champions of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

We Are Good Neighbors

Much like our students, members of our faculty and staff are actively engaged and make meaningful contributions to the life of the city of Worcester through a variety of civic and service initiatives. More than just an ideal, the Jesuit call to be “men and women for and with others” is a continuing commitment made by Holy Cross students, faculty and staff alike.

Learn more about our strong partnership with the city, and ways you can get involved on the Government and Community Relations website.

We Pursue Excellence

Holy Cross employs more than 1,000 full-time and part-time employees, including Jesuits, faculty members, administrators and hourly staff members. Our mission to “pursue excellence in teaching, learning and research” commits us to recruiting, retaining, and fostering the development of faculty and staff who approach “basic human questions” from a rich variety of perspectives. Indeed, faculty and staff are frequently invited to dialogue about basic human questions embodied in the mission statement.
