COVID-19 Guidance for Faculty and Staff

Faculty and staff who test positive for COVID-19, or who have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive, should follow the CDC's guidance with respect to quarantine, isolation, and masking timelines.

Please review the College’s response to COVID-19 for more information.

Staff who will be absent from work must use available accrued paid time off to cover their absence. Staff must inform their supervisors about the length of their absence. If a staff member who tests positive for COVID-19 has been approved to work remotely and is well enough to work during their isolation period, the staff member must discuss their remote work schedule with their supervisor.

With cold and flu season approaching, as well as an increase in COVID cases in Massachusetts, here are a few tips to stay healthy:

  • Wash your hands frequently
  • Stay home if you are not feeling well
  • Wear a mask if you have cold/flu symptoms and need to be around others
  • Stay hydrated
  • Get plenty of rest

Please do not contact Human Resources if you have tested positive for COVID-19. Please alert your direct supervisor.
