Professor Gibel received a B.A. in Theatre from the College of William and Mary and recently completed her M.F.A. as the Stephen Sondheim Fellow at Brown University / Trinity Rep Conservatory. At Brown, she served as a Teaching Assistant for Voice and Speech and played the principal roles of Cicely in Trinity Rep's The Importance of Being Earnest and Guenevere in Camelot. She has been acting professionally since 2001 in numerous productions across the country. In 2006, the Denver Post honored her with the Reader's Choice Award for Best Year by an Actress.
