Fenwick Theatre (O’Kane Second Floor)

Fenwick Theatre houses the major productions of the department, dance concerts, and other theatrical events and has a seating capacity of 225.
Lighting control consists of a 134 dimmer Strand Modular Dimmer System with an ETC Ion control board. The instrument inventory includes standard fixtures and newer accessories such as I-cues, color scrollers, and LED fixtures. The sound system uses EAW speakers and QSC amplifiers. The system is designed for recording and playback of digital sound and is equipped for 16 channel wireless voice reinforcement. A Panasonic 7k lumen projector is available for projected scenery and special effects.
The Pit (O’Kane 37)
The Pit has an open floor area roughly 32 feet by 35 feet. A lighting grid with a 96 dimmer computer lighting system and an ETC Express control board gives us a very flexible class and performance venue.
The Pit is used for acting and design classes, directing class, Alternate College Theatre performances, and guest artists.
Dance Studio (O’Kane 28)
The Dance Studio has a sprung floor, providing dancers with a safe surface that eases wear and tear on the body. The subfloor is covered by a gray Harlequin Tempo vinyl dance floor covering.
Studio (O’Kane 481)
Studio 481 is used as a secondary dance studio and for Scene Study, Shakespeare Through Performance, and Voice in Acting.
