The Scholarship in Action program (SIA) is happy to announce that the grant cycle for SIA Seed Grants is now open. SIA advances community-engaged research in Worcester through partnerships with faculty, students, and community stakeholders. Originally funded through a generous grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, these community-engaged grants are now funded by the College of the Holy Cross through the Donelan Office of Community-Based Learning, Teaching, and Engaged Scholarship. SIA can support faculty, students, and community organizations with resources, materials, funding, and logistical support to develop ethical equity-centered collaborative community-engaged projects. SIA Seed Grants are one-year grants designed to help jump start a collaborative community-based research project with budgets in the range of $2,000-$3,000.
