Throughout the year, the Center for Writing provides Toolbox Talks, the Issues in Writing series, podcasts with writing experts, and workshops on teaching writing. The Center also offers one-on-one consultations about writing pedagogy or writing materials for courses, and the directors are available to visit your class to run a workshop on a specific element of the writing process to guide your students toward improving their writing.
The Center also curates a Canvas page of pedagogical resources, including sample writing and revision activities, materials to help you plan your writing assignments, advice for commenting on student drafts, and best practices for peer review.
For more information on the dates and times of workshops this semester, please see the Programming tab.
To request a one-on-one consultation, schedule a classroom visit, or be added to the Faculty Pedagogical Resources page, please email Director Laurie-Ann Britt-Smith or firstname.lastname@example.org.
