What is Alpha Sigma Nu?
The most prestigious honor society of Jesuit institutions of higher education.

Who is eligible to join?
Juniors, seniors and graduate students who are in the top 15% of their class and have a demonstrated record of service and loyalty to the Jesuit ideals of education.

Why should I join?
Dedication and diligence are tangibly rewarded. Membership is the highest honor bestowed at Jesuit institutions. Only 4% of students are invited to join.

What is the cost?
The dues are $90 for a lifetime membership. This provides for your certificate and official pin or pendant plus all the ASN mailings for the rest of your life.

Are there annual dues?
No. There is an annual Sustaining Fund, which many members support.

Where can I find more information?

Are there networking possibilities?
Yes. ASN has 56,000 members throughout the world with current addresses for about 75% of them. Alumni may be located in the ASN Member Directory online.

Will this help with graduate or professional school admission?
Yes. This is a recognized and respected credential. Established in 1915, ASN is a full member of the Association of College Honor Societies.

Will this help with career moves?
Yes. Members may contact other members for advice, referrals, internships and positions.
