The FAQs have been updated as of August 11, 2020, to reflect the College's announcement of August 10 that it is moving all courses entirely online.
(You may need to clear your browser's cache.)
Please read the College official guidance and policies. International students should NOT travel to campus unless they have already received notice that their request for an "Exception to Live On Campus" has been approved. Students must submit the form by 11:59 pm, Eastern/Boston Time on August 12 and decisions will be sent to them by August 17.
Two important updates: July 19, 2020
1. Please read the updated FAQs for updates on the lifting of SOME travel bans for F-1 visa students. (You may need to refresh your screen or clear your browser's cache to read the new FAQs.)
2. The College has extended the deadline for international students to submit your Acknowledgement form to Friday, July 24. All international students were informed in an email from Dean Tina on July 19.
On July 14, 2020, US government withdrew its July 6th ICE directive! Dean Tina immediately sent an email to all F-1 visa students describing what this means. On July 15 updated FAQs were posted to this site (so you may need to clear your browser's cached files). Please continue to read your Holy Cross email and check this site regularly for additional news.

Greetings, international students and families!
During this very uncertain and difficult time please know that OIS and the Holy Cross community stand with you. We look forward to welcoming you to campus (or back to campus) soon.
In an effort to begin to address some of your many questions about COVID-19, travel, the College's reopening, and the July 6th ICE directives, Dean Tina has prepared some FAQs to be read along with the College's official guidance.
Read the FAQs (PDF).
The FAQs will be updated as often as possible. Thank you very much for your patience.
International students are welcome at Holy Cross!
