Student Engagement

Odyssey

Odyssey is a one-week summer program for first-year students who are first-generation college students, people of color, or eligible for the Pell Grant. Odyssey helps incoming students build relationships with fellow students, faculty and administrators, and familiarizes them with campus resources and the local communities.

Mentor Program

This mentoring program supports first-year domestic students of color and international students, and also those in the Passport Program.  Small groups of incoming students are matched with both faculty and peer mentors who offer them friendship and advice, easing the transition to life at Holy Cross.

Bishop Healy Committee of the Holy Cross Alumni Association

The Bishop Healy Committee of the Holy Cross Alumni Association links alumni in outreach to students of color through recruitment, campus programming, and channeling alumni resources and support.  The Bishop Healy Committee has an ongoing, visible presence on campus and works directly with us in achieving its goals.  The committee is one of the few alumni support groups established by a college alumni association to work specifically toward promoting a warm and receptive campus environment.
