Hallo,
my name is Hannah, and I am going to be your German FLA for the upcoming academic year of 2023-2024. I am 22 years old and grew up in Coburg, a small city in the northern part of Bavaria. To pursue my academic aspirations, I moved to Bamberg, a city known for its cultural richness. I am currently in my third year of studying English, Geography, and Politics and Society, working towards achieving a secondary teacher degree. Ever since I was little, teaching has captivated my interest and I was drawn towards this field. Therefore, I am thrilled at the prospect of gaining invaluable experiences at Holy Cross and learning from you guys!
During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I’m a big fan of cooking and baking; maybe we can get together and create some traditional German dishes. Additionally, I like reading, attending concerts, and traveling, especially to new places where I can explore different cultures. I've never been to the US, so I'm excited for what’s to come.
I'm sure this year is going to be great, and I'm looking forward to meeting you in August.
