My name is Andrea, I am 24 years old, and I will be one of your Italian FLAs for the 2023/2024 academic year.
I studied Languages, Literatures, and Intercultural Studies, specializing in the English language and literature at University of Florence, my hometown. I developed a great passion for foreign languages since a very young age, which led me to the decision of going to a high school specialized in languages, where I studied English, Spanish and Russian. That’s where I discovered my great love for literature and for teaching, which led me to choose and academic path to become one. I am in fact doing my masters, still here in Florence, hoping to become a teacher and share with others my knowledge and my experiences that I have made throughout the years. That’s why I decided to apply for this program, and I am sure that this will enrich my personal bag and help me to familiarize even more with the teaching world. I can’t wait to get started!
When it comes to my other passions, sports, paleontology, and video games are at the top of the list. I play basketball at an amateur level for my hometown club, I like fishing and watching sports live, especially baseball, basketball, and soccer. I like reading all sorts of stuff, but getting updated on the paleontological world is always my favorite thing to read.
I am sure this experience is going to help both you and me to achieve our personal objectives, and I can’t wait for it to begin so we can start helping each other out!
