My name is Naïla, I am 21 years old, and I am beyond excited to be one of your French language assistants for the 2023 – 2024 schoolyear! I am very excited at the thought of sharing this experience with you!
I come from a small village in Lorraine, right on the border with Germany. For the past two
years, I have been a student at Sciences Po (a political science school) in the European capital
of Strasbourg, in Alsace. I cannot wait to share my passion for the French language as well as
the French (and more generally francophone) culture, I hope you will love it as much as I do!
For the past few years, I have been helping children with their homework, and I gave French
and English lessons to students from the age of 8 to the age of 20. Hopefully, these experiences
have helped me improve my teaching skills so I can be the French language assistant you
deserve!
I believe that the only way to learn things is to be interested and actively engaged in them, so
I’m looking forward to getting to know you, so we can learn together as best as we can!
My hobbies include reading, photography (film photography specifically), listening to and
playing music (or try to at least!), spend time with friends. I also spend a good part of my time
taking part in local feminist collectives!
I like to travel but I have not had the chance to explore the American continent yet, so I am
really existed to do so next year! I’m very much looking forward to discovering this new culture
and learn from your experiences.
