Bonjour!
My name is Lizzie, I am 21 years old, and I come from the South of Burgundy (a region famous for its wine!). I am currently a student at The University of Burgundy in Dijon where I am studying English literature and civilization. I intend to continue my studies with a master’s degree in order to become an English teacher in high school or in middle school.
I will be part of the French FLA team throughout this year. I will make sure to share the French culture with you. The French-speaking culture is diversified so will try my best to transmit all of them. I can’t wait to transmit what I know through different activities!
The fact to work as a teaching assistant in a university in a foreign country (an institution other than the French one), especially in the United States, is an opportunity to learn different ways to teach and how we can transmit abilities. Moreover, living in an English-speaking country will bring me more knowledges about the culture and in the future will allow me to convey further information to my French students.
I would describe myself as someone friendly and open-minded. Besides teaching, I like watching movies, reading but I am also a huge fan of Formula One. I am impatient to know your passions!
