¡Hola, hola, hola!
My name is David and I am very excited to be one of the Spanish FLAs during the
2022/2023 academic year. I am 23 years old and I am from León, Spain.
Back in 2020, I graduated with a degree in English Studies from the University of León.
During these last two years, I have been majoring in a master's degree in Linguistics and
Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. At the same time, I have been working abroad as
a Spanish FLA in a high school in Ireland as well as an intern teaching English and Spanish
in an elementary school in Croatia. These two amazing experiences have been key in my
growth as a Spanish teacher.
I like spending my leisure time writing, reading books, watching series and films with a big
bucket of popcorn, going to roller skate with friends and also cooking. I would say I am a
great chef! However, the thing I am most passionate about is the thrill of traveling to new and
different places.
