Tony Hill (PhD 2010, Massachusetts Institute of Technology; MA 2005, University of Minnesota) specializes in American government, especially elections, redistricting, and courts. He is also a scholar of Canadian politics and is author of the book Canadian Politics, Riding by Riding: An In-Depth Analysis of Canada's 301 Federal Electoral Districts. He has authored articles in the Encyclopedia of Politics, the American Encyclopedia of American Political Parties and Elections, Encyclopedia of U.S. Campaigns, Elections, and Electoral Behavior, and the Dictionary of Literary Biography. He has worked in the Minnesota state government and taught at MIT, Tufts University, Suffolk University, Brandeis University, and the Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota.
