Mission Statement

The Office of Assessment and Research is integral to the College’s pursuit of excellence in student learning.  Its primary responsibility is to support the members of the College community who are actively assessing student learning outcomes and to create meaningful dialogue from those results.  The Office coordinates all assessment-related activities on campus and lends research support for special projects as determined by the President’s Cabinet.  Office staff  provide technical expertise on the development of student learning outcomes, the selection of appropriate assessment measures, and the analysis and interpretation of assessment data. Established in 2007, the Office reports to the Provost and Dean of the College.  Its staff consists of the Director and a full-time Senior Research Analyst.
