Guten Tag!
My name is Diana, and I will be the new German FLA for the 2021/22 semester. I am 24 years old and come from a town called Uder, in the heart of Germany.
Currently, I am in my 8th semester studying English and Political Science at the University of Bamberg. My field of interest is English linguistic – so anything regarding how English language is spoken and why. During my studies, I have also been working closely with other professors regarding tertiary education at the Bamberg University.
Besides studying, I love sports, especially endurance: running, working-out, anything! Although I do like adventurous activities, I also love reading and just hiking out in the woods. Sometimes, I like to escape reality and travel or go camping, especially to places that are surrounded by nature.
This opportunity to teach German in the United States will be an entirely new experience for me which is why I cannot wait to start!
