Hallo zusammen!
My name is Kim Noah Thau and I will be your German Language Assistant in 2022/2023!
I am 22 years old and originally from Cologne, in the west of Germany, but moved to Bamberg, Bavaria to study there and have never regretted it ever since.
Currently, I am in my 6th semester studying to become a teacher for English and Geography. My special interests are cultural elements and language varieties, since I am often told my English sounds a little Australian.
When I am not doing anything for university I love to hang out with my friends, have a barbecue or play some games here in Bamberg or back at home. My biggest passion definitely is football (most of you probably call it soccer) and I spend most of my weekends either playing myself or travelling through Germany or Europe to support my favourite club.
I had the chance to already see many different places in the world but have never been to the US so I am very much looking forward to meet and get to know all of you in August 2022!
