Rehm Library

Rehm LibraryHoly Cross dedicated Carol and Park B. Smith Hall in September 2001. It is  home to the Rev. Michael C. McFarland, S.J. Center for Religion, Ethics and Culture and other departments. Located at the geographic center of campus, Smith Hall completes Fenwick and O'Kane Halls, the campus' original main buildings. Among other benefits, Smith Hall unites under one roof the McFarland Center for Religion, Ethics and Culture and the Religious Studies and Philosophy departments.

The McFarland Center's primary public space is the two-story Rehm Library, an elegant and modern venue for lectures, forums and information sessions with state-of-the-art audio-visual capabilities. When not in use for events, Rehm Library provides quiet space for study and reflection, and enhanced library resources on religion and spirituality. The shelves of Rehm Library house primary texts on an array of religious traditions.
