In Hoc Signo Award
Each year, Holy Cross honors up to four graduates with the Alumni Association’s highest honor, the In Hoc Signo Award. First presented in June 1960, the In Hoc Signo Award is an expression of respect and admiration for those alumni who have given most generously of their time and talents to Holy Cross.

Young Alumni Leadership Award
Established in June 2011, the Young Alumni Leadership Award recognizes a young alumnus/a who has graduated within the past ten years and has demonstrated outstanding service to alma mater through the Alumni Association's committees and activities, regional club or class.

Awards Standards of Eligibility
Any living alumnus/a of the College who has rendered and volunteered such meritorious service to the College, any of its alumni organizations or his/her class, by unusual, extraordinary, faithful and continued efforts, or in promoting and enhancing the prestige and reputation of the College and its Jesuit mission.
Service rendered by an alumnus/a as a compensated employee of the College, professional and business achievements and benefactions and donations shall not qualify as meritorious service and do not represent or shall be considered eligible qualifications. The president of an alumni organization, an employee of the College or a member of the Board of Trustees, while serving as such, may not be nominated for the HCAA awards. The Committee shall not consider any nominee endorsed formally by the board of directors of a regional alumni club or other organization. The awards shall not be made on the basis of class, geography, gender or race, but solely for meritorious service.

Maura A. Fredey '94, P25
A passionate volunteer, alumna and parent, Maura Fredey ’94, P25 is a spirited advocate for Holy Cross and its mission.
For 20 years, Maura has diligently served the HCAA in such roles as board member, Communications Committee chair, Continuing Education and Nominations and Elections committee member, and Senator, a title which she holds currently. Additionally, she has served enthusiastically on the Class of 1994’s 20th, 25th and 30th Reunion gift efforts, co-chairing the 25th Gift Committee. Maura has shared her experiences as a business leader and advocate for philanthropy at the Women in Business conference and Ciocca Center workshops. She has been featured on HC's Mission Driven podcast, and has hosted HC students for job shadowing. Along with her husband Gene ’93, Maura served on the President's Council Executive Committee, Parents Council and Senior Parents Gift Committee.
After an early career in health care communications and PR, Maura and Gene ran Carole Kitchen & Bath Design together for about 20 years. She now resides in Winchester, Massachusetts with Gene and daughters Caroline ’25 and Julia.

Francis X. Gleason, M.D., '71, P00
Francis X. “Frank” Gleason, M.D., '71, P00 has been a faithful and fervent supporter of the College since his graduation.
In addition to his role as charter member of the Board and Treasurer of the Holy Cross Club of Long Island, Frank is also founder and former president of the Holy Cross Club of Virginia. Established in 2012, the club flourished under Frank’s guidance and, today, includes 450 members and sponsors such events as holiday gatherings, post-game receptions and Holy Cross Cares activities. In recognition of his leadership in regional club development, Frank was awarded Regional Club Volunteer of the Year in 2018. Currently serving his third term on the HCAA board of directors, Frank has been a member of the class of 1971’s 25th and 45th Reunion Gift committees and shares his music ministry during Reunion class masses. He has also served as an admission office volunteer since 1992.
A retired physician, Frank and his wife, Patrice, are the parents of Sean, Brian and Cara ’00, and reside in Mount Sinai, New York.

Stanley E. Grayson '72
A member of the College’s board of trustees for 16 years (1994-2002, 2016-2024), Stanley “Stan” Grayson ’72 is recognized for his lifelong commitment to the values of Holy Cross.
As a trustee, Stan was an impactful leader known for his strategic thinking and quiet influence. He served as a member of Institutional Advancement and Athletics committees and chaired the Trusteeship Committee. Stan has held leadership roles in the class of 1972’s Reunion fundraising efforts, the Holy Cross Leadership Council, the Holy Cross Varsity Club Board and Become More campaign cabinet A key contributor to the success of the Black Student Union 50th Anniversary, he helped establish the BSU Student Opportunity Fund. Stan has mentored countless Holy Cross students and alumni and currently sits on the College’s Board of Advisors.
A former Deputy Mayor for Finance and Economic Development for the City of New York City, Stan retired as vice chairman and chief operating officer of M. R. Beal & Company in 2014. He and his wife, Patricia, reside in New York City, and are the parents of Lauren and Stephen.

Thomas C. Healey '76
For nearly five decades, Thomas C. “Tom” Healey '76 has been inspiring members of the class of 1976 with his tireless energy and contagious enthusiasm.
Called “the heart and soul” of his class, Tom has served as a class agent since graduation, Reunion Committee member for every reunion and class correspondent since 1990. Praised for his heartfelt and engaging letters and outreach, he received the Joseph A. Perrotta '28 Award in 2021, for communicating with his classmates “in an especially dedicated way.” Due in large part to Tom’s efforts, the class of 1976 consistently boasts high numbers of both donors and donations, having set multiple giving records. Since taking responsibility for the class’s Day of Giving effort 10 years ago, Tom has motivated his class to finish among the top four in terms of donors every year – in 2025, the class finished first.
A marketing and communications professional, Tom has also served as a firefighter and a reservist, and is a board-certified critical incident stress counselor. He resides in Plainsboro, New Jersey.
Jerome Ferrer Siangco '19
Jerome Ferrer Siangco '19 is the recipient of the 2025 HCAA Young Alumni Leadership Award.
Co-president of the Holy Cross Club of the Capital Region, Jerome is recognized for his untiring dedication to expanding and reinvigorating the D.C.-area club. The various events he plans, ranging from happy hours to networking gatherings to football tailgates, create opportunities to foster connections among alumni across the generations – and they reflect his steady commitment to the Holy Cross community beyond Mount St. James. In addition, Jerome has served as the class of 2019’s 5th reunion gift chair, a member of the HCAA Nominations and Elections Committee and an alumni interviewer for the admission office.
Jerome resides in Washington, D.C. and serves a senior manager for development and outreach at the National Bureau of Asian Research.
