Marketing Communications and Sales Workshop

Develop an understanding of marketing, advertising, communications, public relations, and sales through the guidance of alumni presenters.

The Marketing Communications and Sales Workshop includes project-based teamwork with final presentations. In addition to exploring career options within the industries, the workshop provides an excellent opportunity to learn from and network with successful alumni.

This workshop is required for the Certificate in Business Fundamentals.

Program: Tuesday - Wednesday, January 14-15, 2025

  • 2:00 - 5:00pm Public Relations

Day Two: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

  • 9:00am - 12:00 pm Sales Panel
  • 2:00 - 5:00pm Final Presentations

Instructors

Alumni professionals cover the various fields within Marketing Communications.  Students work together throughout the workshop and present to a panel of alumni as part of the final project. 

Registration

  • Due to capacity limitations, registration is currently limited to the Class of 2025.  Students should reach out to Cassie Gevry for permission.  

  • Classes of 2026-2028 should schedule a meeting during office hours to create a plan for Certificate completion.
