David Chu joined the College’s faculty in the Department of Economics and Accounting in 1991 and taught courses in accounting until 2006 when he assumed his current position. Prior to Holy Cross, he was a professor at Indiana University for six years, after earning his doctorate there in 1985.

Ja- Naé joined the College in fall of 2017 and is working to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship across campus and alumni and in the broader community. Ja-Naé is a best-selling author and serial entrepreneur with previous experience as an opera singer. Her passion is to help students create positive social impact on the world.

Cassie manages the marketing communications and student programming for the center. She is the advisor for the business clubs and the Women in Business student committee. Cassie previously worked in the Department of Visual Arts. She is a current participant in the Leadership Worcester Program, is on the Worcester Women's Leadership Committee, and holds a B.A. in communications from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Kendy Hess joined the College's faculty in the Department of Philosophy in 2009.  She practiced corporate environmental law for 15 years before getting her PhD.  At Holy Cross, her research focuses on corporate moral and political obligation and she teaches classes on capitalism, ethics, environmental philosophy, and political philosophy.  In both research and teaching, she is increasingly interested in the human practice of working (in all its many forms) and how it shapes us as moral agents.

Kathy handles all logistical details for the Center. As a supporter for HCF1RST students, she welcomes opportunities to engage this community. She earned her associate degree in marketing from Massachusetts Bay Community College. She first started at Holy Cross in the Center for Career Development in 2006.
