About Our Office

The Office of Student Accessibility Services provides accommodations, services, and programs for students who self-identify to the College as having a disability. We use an individualized, interactive approach to reviewing requests and determining accommodations.

The College of the Holy Cross complies with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), The ADA Amendments Act of 2008 and applicable federal and state nondiscrimination laws.

Holy Cross welcomes qualified students with disabilities in all areas of campus life. Students may connect with our office at any time, before applying, after accepting, or during their time at the College. For accommodations that may require additional planning, we encourage early outreach.

We also work with faculty and campus partners to support access across academic programs, services, and the broader campus experience.

I was pleasantly surprised by my institution’s interest in supporting my advocacy efforts, and it is my hope that my fellow autistic students in colleges across the country will have similar experiences.

My experience as a SAS intern and DREAM president helped me grow as an advocate while working to strengthen accessibility and community on campus, and I’m deeply grateful for the guidance and support that made this work possible.
