Holy Cross is proud to serve as a new starting line and hub site for the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) in 2026, replacing the ride’s traditional Sturbridge start. Learn more about riding, volunteering and being a part of the weekend's events.

What is the Pan-Mass Challenge?

The Pan-Mass Challenge is a Massachusetts-based bike-a-thon that raises more money for charity than any other single athletic fundraising event in the country. PMC 2026, which took place on Saturday, Aug. 1 and Sunday, Aug. 2, brought together more than 6,800 riders and 3,500 volunteers from around the globe to support lifesaving cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. As a fully operational hub site, Holy Cross also conducted rider and volunteer registration and hosted the official PMC 2026 Opening Ceremonies on Friday, July 31.
