For Pre-Tenure Faculty: Understanding the Tenure and Promotion Process
Provost Elliott Visconsi and Dean of Faculty Development Jumi Hayaki will provide an overview of the tenure process and answer questions.
Information about the tenure process is also available in the Statutes of the Faculty (Ch. II: Faculty, Ranks, Appointments, Tenure and Promotion) and the Faculty Handbook (Ch. IX. Faculty Ranks, Appointments, Promotion, and Tenure).
This session is open to all pre-tenure faculty and will also be offered in the spring semester.
