This event is part of the fall 2026 New Faculty Orientation schedule and is open to all faculty members who are participating in New Faculty Orientation during AY 2026-2027. I hope you can join us for this informal community-building time!
Join Jumi Hayaki, Dean of Faculty Development, for an informal lunch get-together in Kimball dining hall! No agenda, just conversation and company, and, for anyone who has yet to visit Kimball, a chance to gather in a shared community space over a meal.
To reserve your spot and participate, please do the following:

RSVP by 9 AM on Monday, October 5. Due to the venue, this event has a maximum of 15 guests.

On the day of the lunch, please gather outside on the steps at the entrance of Kimball Hall at 11:30 AM. We will enter the dining hall together so that Jumi can purchase our lunch admission as a group, in a single transaction.

Once we enter the dining hall, Jumi will reserve a table or two (depending on the number of RSVPs) for our group.
Note: Jumi is hosting another Kimball lunch on Tuesday, October 6. You are also always welcome to organize your own group lunches in Kimball or elsewhere on campus!
