Description
An ensemble of students and faculty present Julius Eastman’s infectious Stay On It, a minimalist classic that springs forth from a joyful, syncopated riff to more complicated textures that resemble free jazz. Composed for an open instrumentation, the score calls for flexibility as performers make choices on what and when to play in real time, so that no two performances are ever the same. Please join us for this exciting communal performance!
