For Associate Professors: Career Reflection and Promotion to the Rank of Professor
Provost Elliott Visconsi and Dean of Faculty Development Jumi Hayaki will meet with associate professors to discuss career development during the associate professor years, including reflection about when and how to consider promotion to the rank of Professor.
Information about the promotion process is also available in the Statutes of the Faculty (Ch. II: Faculty, Ranks, Appointments, Tenure and Promotion) and the Faculty Handbook (Ch. IX. Faculty Ranks, Appointments, Promotion, and Tenure).
This session is open to all associate professors and will also be offered in the spring semester.
