Worcester Public Library
For 25 years, the Donelan Office for Community-Based Learning, Teaching, and Engaged Scholarship has had the privilege of working alongside community partners across Worcester and beyond. Together, we have built relationships, developed projects, welcomed students into community organizations and classrooms, pursued research, and created opportunities for learning grounded in the knowledge and work of our community.
Twenty-five years gives us much to celebrate—and an important opportunity to reflect.
As we mark this milestone, we want to spend time with the community partners who have shaped this work to ask: What have we built together? What makes this work meaningful and sustainable? And what do we want the next chapter of community engagement at Holy Cross to look like?
We invite you to join us for ENGAGE, an evening of conversation, connection, and shared reflection. Rather than a formal presentation or traditional anniversary event, ENGAGE will create space for community partners to be in conversation with one another and with us—to share stories, name what makes strong community-campus partnerships possible, and consider what we need to sustain and strengthen this work in the years ahead.
Please RSVP using the form below to let us know if you’ll be joining us for ENGAGE on November 17. We hope you’ll join us not only to celebrate where we’ve been, but to help imagine where we go next.
