Our senior interviewers are talented, current Holy Cross students who have diverse interests and represent the breadth of backgrounds and academic pursuits we have here in our spirited community. They have all been trained as one-on-one admissions interviewers, and they look forward to hearing about you and how you challenge yourself and share your proudest moments.

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience: The highlight of my Holy Cross experience was my junior year, which was spent studying abroad in Strasbourg, France for one semester and participating in the New York Semester program for the other.

Plans after HC: Having had two amazing internships in New York during my time at Holy Cross, I hope to back in the city after I graduate pursuing a career in the Media Industry. 
Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience: I always love watching my friends perform at The Battle of the Bands during Spring Weekend.

Plans after HC: I would like to go into the field of Mental Health Counseling and Treatment.
Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience: As the 9th seed Holy Cross went the Patriot League Basketball Championship, and as a result went on to participate in the NCAA Tournament. The campus was so united with them; it was wondrous to be a part of.

 

Austin Bosworth

Co-Curricular Involvement: On campus I am a member of the Club Men’s Lacrosse Executive Board, I am an Admissions Senior Interviewer, and I participate in the Pre-Business/COES Program.  I recently returned from a year of Study Abroad, spending my fall in Brighton, U.K. and the spring in Washington D.C.
Plans after HC: Though I currently have no set plans, I am pursuing two possible careers, the first being a corporate sales/client relationship role at a technology solutions company, and the second being strategic communications for financial services firms. 
Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience: My favorite moment at HC is taking the first steps back onto campus after a winter or summer break when friends reunite, classes are just starting, and a new semester begins.

 

Carley Buckley

Plans after HC: After graduation, I hope to move to New York City and pursue a career in the entertainment industry whether it is behind the scenes or on the stage.
Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience: One of my favorite memories during my time at Holy Cross was when my a cappella group, Fools on the Hill, won a local college a cappella competition. We had so much fun during the performance and our Holy Cross friends and family were all there to support us and cheer us on.

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience: One night my first year, Freshman Field froze over when my friends and I left our dorms and skated on the ice in our sneakers and coats. It was one of the first times we experienced our awesome community and campus.

Plans after HC: Being on the field hockey team is incredible and last year, we made the Patriot League tournament for the first time in 10 years and that moment we found out we made the tournament was one of my favorite memories at HC.

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience: Spending my junior year abroad for the first semester in Washington D.C. and the second semester in Edinburgh, Scotland has been one of the best aspects of my Holy Cross education.

 

Jacqueline Galvinhill

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience: Going on the Manresa Retreat as a student leader and developing a strong, supportive leadership team as we met together in the weeks before the retreat.

 

Sierra Hannough

Co-Curricular Involvement: On campus, I am a member of the women’s ice hockey team, a Counseling Outreach Peer Educator (COPE) member, as well as a member of Women’s Empowerment through Leadership Education and Development. I also conduct research with Professor Senecal that is geared toward easing Veteran reintegration. Additionally, I received an Ignite Fund grant that I am using to create a space for girls to succeed in STEM pursuits.
Plans after HC: Upon graduation, I would like to continue to work with returning Veterans while I pursue a PhD in cognitive neuroscience.
Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience: A highlight of my Holy Cross experience was attending the beam signing at the new Luth Athletic Complex and meeting the Luth family.

 

Mae Hougo

Abigail Howland

Co-Curricular Involvement: On campus I am a member of the Creative Writing Club and the English Department’s Nu Chi Chapter of Sigma Tau Delta. I am also an Equipment Assistant in the Equipment Room at the Hart Center. I volunteer as a Greeter in the Admissions Office and most recently I have had the pleasure of joining the Senior Interviewer Program.
Plans after HC: After Holy Cross:After graduation I would love to find a position in Human Resources in a corporate environment or a position in Marketing.
Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience: A favorite Holy Cross memory of mine is the Third Eye Blind Spring Concert with everyone on Freshman Field singing along and enjoying the last moments of the school year.

 

Kelley Kraemer

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience: One of my favorite traditions at Holy Cross is Wheeler Stickball. I have been competing with a group of girls from my freshman hall since I arrived and love that even as a senior I can still be included in activities that take place in my freshman dorm!

 

Megan Nemeth

Plans after HC: I am hoping to continue my education by entering a Graduate Program for Clinical Psychology after graduating from Holy Cross.
Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience: Holy Cross provided me with the unforgettable opportunity to study abroad in Cork, Ireland for a semester; it was an experience that allowed me to grow independently and immerse myself into a different culture and country all while connecting with new Holy Cross friends. Highly recommend!

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience: My favorite Holy Cross experience was in 2016, traveling to the NCAA Tournament with the basketball team. The pep band flew to Ohio and then Washington to watch the games. Traveling so far with my friends to cheer on our team was a memory I will never forget.

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience: Volunteering at Unified Swimming, the Holy Cross program offering swim lessons to children and adults with disabilities, has been a great way to give back to the community and build relationships with athletes who have a passion for swimming and who are unwilling to allow their disability to deter pursuing their passion.
