The Washington Semester Program during the fall of my junior year. From moving to a new city with 15 other HC students, to interning in the Senate and writing a thesis on presidential campaign rhetoric, the program was an incredible opportunity to grow personally and professionally. It has helped me create the career path I am so excited to continue on after graduation.

While doing that, I aspire to go to graduate school in order to earn my doctorate of psychology.

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience.
One highlight of my Holy Cross experience is becoming a resident assistant (RA) for first years. I found joy in making myself a resource for first year students who were lost and looking for some guidance.

One of my highlights of my Holy Cross experience was my Montserrat (first year) seminar. The professor fostered informative and dynamic academic discussions while also creating a space for us to talk about our transition to college. I met some of my best friends in this class and I still remain in contact with my professor as she has been a constant mentor.

I have so many great memories of my time at Holy Cross so far and I think one of my favorites is Spring Weekend of Sophomore year. A big group of us were all hanging outside the residence halls on Easy Street playing Spike Ball as the sun set and once it was dark we all sat on the grass to watch the firework show together. It was a fun way to end the year!

What are your plans after graduating from Holy Cross?
I plan on attending law school after Holy Cross, whether that's right away, or after working for a year or two. I am looking into the Dismas Family Farm inmate rehabilitation program in Oakham, MA. The small farm takes a handful of recently released inmates in and helps them with job preparedness, and substance abuse rehabilitation. I think this program would provide me some meaningful real-world experience with one portion of our legal system before entering a law program.

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience.
Spending my junior year spring in Washington, D.C. has to be the highlight of my Holy Cross experience. Living with three great friends in Arlington, VA, and completing an internship and thesis project alongside 15 other Holy Cross students was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. My experience in D.C., interning at The Federalist Society, in particular, may very well lend itself to some great post-Holy Cross career opportunities, but if nothing less, it was three fun months in a city with which I was otherwise unfamiliar.
