Our senior interviewers are talented, current Holy Cross students who have diverse interests and represent the breadth of backgrounds and academic pursuits we have here in our spirited community. They have all been trained as one-on-one admissions interviewers, and they look forward to hearing about you and how you challenge yourself and share your proudest moments.

Co-Curricular Involvement:  I have been involved with the Orthodox Club, SPUD, work study, and have therefore participated in various community organizations like Dress for Success, Horizons for Homeless Children, and Jumpstart.

What are your plans after graduating from Holy Cross?
I plan on working as a college admissions representative, then going on to get my master's degree. I am interested in pursuing a career in school psychology or college admissions!

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience.
One of my favorite memories at Holy Cross was Spring Weekend of my Sophomore year. My friends and I ran out to see the fireworks while eating chicken tenders from Crossroads! It was so wholesome!

What are your plans after graduating from Holy Cross?
After graduating from Holy Cross, I plan to pursue a career in politics working for a representative, nonprofit, or lobby, and in a few years attend law school.

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience.
Some of the best afternoons I have had at Holy Cross were my team's volunteer events. I especially loved our collaboration with Girls Inc. to spend a few afternoons a year playing soccer and other fun games with the girls.

What are your plans after graduating from Holy Cross?
After Holy Cross, I hope to become a political journalist in New York City. Eventually, I plan to attend graduate school and get my Masters in Journalism. I want to work for a publication geared towards young women that consolidates content about fashion, lifestyle, and popular culture with political content to introduce young women to politics in an accessible, engaging way.

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience.
One highlight of my Holy Cross experience was studying abroad in South Africa through the School for International Training the fall of my junior year. Going outside of my comfort zone and choosing to go to a country so different from my own with students from schools all across the country was terrifying, but it was ultimately the most educational and engaging experience I've had to date. I met one of my best friends, had the most wonderful host families, and got to work as an intern writer for The Sunday Times for six weeks!

What are your plans after graduating from Holy Cross?
I plan to work in the marketing industry, specifically in branding and collateral. I want to use my language and cultural skills to either help a start-up company make their brand global or help a well established brand globalize.

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience.
One of my highlights from going to Holy Cross is speaking with friends from different disciplines. When speaking, we are able to make connections between what we are learning. Going to a liberal arts college has allowed me to see how interconnected the world is, no matter the perspective you are looking at it through.

After graduation, I hope to develop my Spanish proficiency and attend business school.

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience.
One highlight of my Holy Cross experience was studying abroad in A Coruña, Spain. I was able to fully immerse myself in a new culture and further my education outside of the classroom.

What are your plans after graduating from Holy Cross?
After graduation, I hope to participate in a year of service and then attend graduate school to pursue a career in the medical field.

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience.
Participating in the Spring Break Immersion Program is one of the best things experiences I have had at Holy Cross. These experiences allowed me to take the ideals instilled in me on campus and apply them to the larger world. On my trips, I made friendships with Holy Cross students that will last a lifetime.

What are your plans after graduating from Holy Cross?
After Holy Cross, I plan to attend graduate school for psychology. Ultimately, I would like to practice clinical psychology.

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience.
One highlight of my Holy Cross experience has been having the opportunity to perform on the football field with both the dance team and the marching band. There is always such an exciting atmosphere at the games. Game days will always be some of my greatest memories from Holy Cross.

What are your plans after graduating from Holy Cross?
I plan to attend law school after graduation. I would like to study civil rights law and incorporate my interests in community building and projects into my studies. 


Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience.
The highlight of my Holy Cross experience was studying abroad in Lima, Peru. I met many different people both from Holy Cross and my host university, which I would not have been able to meet otherwise. I also was able to learn a lot about Peruvian culture and the experience made me want to learn more about other Latin American countries and cultures.

What are your plans after graduating from Holy Cross?
I am currently applying to positions in sales. I have applied my learned skills during my time at Holy Cross and used them in our extensive field of networking.

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience.
There are so many highlights during my time at Holy Cross, but my experience studying abroad with a family in Spain was truly life-changing. I learned and grew so much as a person, student, and traveler during my time abroad. Holy Cross gave me the tools, confidence, and platform to have such an incredible and successful experience.

What are your plans after graduating from Holy Cross?
I do not have any concrete plans yet, but I would love to take a year off and join the work force before going to graduate school for either theatre or student affairs.

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience.
Although I love every theatre production I have been in, the highlight of my Holy Cross experience has been being a Summer Orientation Leader with Gateways Orientation. It introduced me to so many different people on campus, helped me solidify my place at Holy Cross, and helped me gain a new sense of independence which I have taken with me through every other activity I have been a part of at Holy Cross.

What are your plans after graduating from Holy Cross?
While I know that I would eventually like to pursue a Masters or PhD after graduation, I am excited to explore positions in the field of law and public policy.

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience.
Last June, I worked on campus as a Summer Orientation Leader with the Office of Student Involvement. I loved working with my peers, many of whom I had never met, to plan and execute an orientation program that welcomed the Class of 2023 and their families into the Holy Cross community. Experiencing Holy Cross with other amazing orientation leaders and the Class of 2023 is something I'll never forget!

What are your plans after graduating from Holy Cross?
After graduation, I plan on working in economic policy and eventually attending graduate school to study either public policy or political economy.

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience.
One highlight of my Holy Cross experience was studying abroad for my junior year at the London School of Economics. My amazing professors at HC prepared me to succeed abroad and it was incredible to live and study in the heart of London. I can't wait to return to Holy Cross for my senior year after such an academically and culturally transformative year in the UK.

What are your plans after graduating from Holy Cross?
After graduation, I hope to spend time in Sub-Saharan Africa doing research in health and development economics before completing graduate studies in economics.

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience.
A highlight of each year is the last Thursday of the Fall Semester, when the Office of the College Chaplains and the Department of Music co-sponsor the Advent Festival of Lessons and Carols. It is a great way to de-stress before finals and get into the Christmas spirit with family and friends!

What are your plans after graduating from Holy Cross?
I intend to pursue a master's degree in migration studies and human rights law. After completing my master's, I hope to work for the International Rescue Committee providing humanitarian relief for refugees.

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience.
One of my favorite Holy Cross experiences was going out to dinner with one of my history professors and a friend who had the same professor, but for a different course. It was such a unique opportunity to discuss what we had learned from the same person, but in a different setting and to talk about the interconnectedness and differences between my friend's course on the history of medicine and my course on colonial America. I also appreciated the ability to talk with my professor outside the classroom and office hours settings.

What are your plans after graduating from Holy Cross?
Upon graduation from Holy Cross, I am looking to build upon my internship experience with various think tanks and law firms to obtain a full-time position in policy promotion or development with a think tank. I will also be pursuing a degree in law.

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience.
The highlight of my Holy Cross experience has been the opportunity to participate in the Washington D.C. semester. Through internship experience and the crafting of my thesis, this semester provided me with significant intellectual, personal, and professional growth and development for which I am so thankful.

Being involved with Gateways Orientation the last three years has been one of my favorite experiences at Holy Cross. It has allowed me to welcome new students, create friendships with other Orientation Leaders, and connect with faculty and staff from all corners of campus. Gateways allowed me to grow closer with the Holy Cross community and share that love with others!

I plan on pursuing my doctorate in clinical psychology.

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience.
One major highlight of my Holy Cross experience was when I broke the indoor and outdoor school records in the shot put. Track and field has been such an impactful part of my experience on the Hill. It has taught me the importance of grit, perseverance, and self-confidence.

What are your plans after graduating from Holy Cross?
My plan upon graduation is to enter the workforce for a year or two before going off to graduate school. My goal is to one day work in news media and entertainment and I would love the opportunity to obtain a few years of experience in the industry before furthering my education.

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience.
Working for Worcester has been an incredible experience during my time at Holy Cross. I have met so many wonderful and passionate people through the program who have come together to make the city of Worcester a better place.

What are your plans after graduating from Holy Cross?
Upon graduation, I plan to do a year of service before finding a more long-term job in business of some sort, hopefully in Boston!

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience.
The highlight of my Holy Cross experience academically was my Montserrat class; my incredible professor and the work we did centered around social justice. My class was able to produce a documentary fighting for equality that was incredibly powerful. Personally, the highlight of my Holy Cross experience has been by far the friends that turned into my family and my support system while I am at school. I am so grateful for them.

After graduation, I hope to focus on a career in science writing so as to better communicate scientific ideology and thought to a wider, public audience.

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience.
A highlight of my Holy Cross experience was being able to participate in the Weiss Summer Research Program. For an entire summer, I was able to focus on my research while living on campus with friends and fellow classmates. As I am from California, it was a great opportunity to experience summer in New England.

After Holy Cross, I plan to enter into a graduate program where I can continue my study of classical languages and religions.

One highlight of my Holy Cross experience was studying abroad in Greece and Italy. I had the opportunity to stay with a Greek and Italian family and immerse myself in their culture. Plus, I got to eat some pretty amazing food!

What are your plans after graduating from Holy Cross?
I plan to attend dental school in hopes of becoming a dental specialist.

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience.
Some highlights of my Holy Cross experience include attending a Maymester program in Rome, competing within the Patriot League, and being part of a chemistry research lab. Every day on the Hill is special in its own way, even when it is just studying in Dinand with close friends. I truly have loved all of my Holy Cross moments!

What are your plans after graduating from Holy Cross?
Upon graduating, I plan to gain some experience in the healthcare field, preferably as an EMT or Medical Assistant, before going to PA school.

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience.
Being a Writing TA for the Passport Program was definitely an amazing experience for me. I was able to learn so much about myself and grow as a person as well as give back to a program that really helped me my freshman year!

What are your plans after graduating from Holy Cross?
After Holy Cross, I hope to find a job in book publishing or editing.

Name For me a highlight has always been homecoming weekend.
A highlight of my Holy Cross experience has been working in Kimball, our dining hall, as a student supervisor, or Captain. All of us are so close and spend time together outside of work, going to dinners together in Worcester or having study sessions together in Dinand. Being able to work with, go to classes with, and live with some of my best friends has definitely been one of the best parts of Holy Cross!

After graduation, I would like to possibly take a year to volunteer. Afterwards, I would like to enter the non-profit industry or a finance rotational program to gain work experience before attending law school. I am excited to see where my Holy Cross education takes me!

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience.
I have been so grateful to have so many fantastic experiences during my time thus far at Holy Cross. If I had to choose, it would be my time as a Gateways Orientation Leader, or my trip to Bluefield, West Virginia as a part of the Spring Break Immersion Program this past March. It was a great way to meet new people from Holy Cross and the Bluefield community.

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience.
A highlight of my journey at Holy Cross is my participation in the Weiss Summer Research Program. As a Student Research Associate, I conducted an AIDS/LGBTQ+ history research project in which I created an in-depth timeline highlighting AIDS Project Worcester's legacy in Worcester County.

What are your plans after graduating from Holy Cross?
My career aspiration is to become an attorney, and my plan is to attend law school after graduation.

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience.
The highlight of my Holy Cross experience was interacting with members of the student body alongside my friend Noah during our Student Government Association (SGA) Co-Presidential campaign. I enjoyed forming new friendships and learning from student perspectives over the course of our campaign, and I'm honored to serve our campus community during this academic year.

What are your plans after graduating from Holy Cross?
When I graduate from Holy Cross, I hope to work in supply chain management for a large food or beverage company. I am very interested in studying consumer products from their point of origin to their availability in nearby convenient stores.

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience.
Spring Weekend at Holy Cross is such an incredible event that takes place during the final weeks of the school year. The weekend is filled with spring concerts, carnivals, and amazing food which allows the Holy Cross community to come together to celebrate the successful school year with their faculty and students.

What are your plans after graduating from Holy Cross?
After graduation, I plan to pursue a year or two of service with the Fulbright Scholar Program or the Peace Corps. Then, I would like to continue my studies to receive an international law degree focused on human rights. I hope to work with NGOs, the United Nations, or the U.S. Department of State in the future.

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience.
One highlight of my Holy Cross experience was the opportunity to study abroad for a year in Strasbourg, France. I was able to grow as a French speaker and travel throughout Europe and Africa, and I returned a strong global citizen.

What are your plans after graduating from Holy Cross?
After graduation, I hope to begin a career in business analytics in the Boston area, and eventually pursue a Masters in Business Administration. Thanks to the powerful Holy Cross alumni network, I have been able to make many meaningful connections with alumni in the analytics field which helped me land two really great internships. Although I do not want to leave Holy Cross, I am excited to graduate and I know that I am well prepared for the business world from my time on the Hill!

Name one highlight of your Holy Cross experience.
My Junior year family weekend has definitely been a major highlight of my time at Holy Cross! All of my roommates and best friends' families gathered on Freshman Field for the football tailgate. It was such a fun day of eating amazing food, talking with everyone's families, and watching our friends on the football team win!
