Fall Open House

Save the date for our fall open houses! Join us on September 28 or November 9 for an immersive experience into campus life. Get a taste of autumn in New England, explore a range of engaging sessions tailored to your interests, and have lunch with other prospective Holy Cross families. Choose from student-led tours, informative workshops, and exclusive insights into our application review process.

Throughout the day, you'll have the chance to interact with a diverse group of current students who will be available on panels and for one-on-one conversations, sharing their personal experiences and answering your questions. This is your opportunity to see firsthand what makes Holy Cross special and how you can be part of our dynamic community. We look forward to welcoming you and helping you imagine your future with us!

Perspectives Overnight Program

The Perspectives Overnight Program is designed for high school seniors who may face barriers to affording a visit to campus—such as limited financial resources, attendance at rural or urban Title I schools, or being among the first in their family (excluding siblings) to attend college. All students with a genuine interest in Holy Cross are encouraged to apply, regardless of demographic or financial circumstances.

This program is a key part of the College’s commitment to fostering access and opportunity. Our mission is to support students who have shown strong academic potential, a dedication to service, and a deep interest in the Jesuit values that define the Holy Cross experience. Participants will stay overnight at a local hotel with their guest, and have the opportunity to connect with current students on campus, experience campus life firsthand, and gain a deeper understanding of the vibrant and supportive Holy Cross community.

A guardian can be an aunt, uncle, older cousin, older brother or sister, or community mentor (college counselor, coach, etc).

Yes. We utilize technology to provide translation in over 50 languages. We do ask all guests to come with headphones and a working cell-phone. Guests who need an ASL interpreter will have one scheduled for them. Students are asked to note this on their application.

Perspectives is a highly selective program with limited space and is not the sole pathway to admission. Holy Cross has a highly selective admissions process overall, with acceptance rates recently ranging from 17% to 21% for the most recent classes. There are many high-achieving students who are not admitted into the Perspectives Overnight Program that are admitted to Holy Cross. We still encourage you to engage through webinars and interviews and apply by the deadline that suits you best!
