            Dougal Murray Health Professions Scholarship

The Dougal Murray Scholarship supports junior and senior students at Holy Cross who plan to attend medical or dental school.
This merit-based scholarship is awarded to third- and fourth-year students with demonstrated financial need, strong academic performance (GPA 3.7+) and commitment to community service and leadership.
About the Scholarship
The Dougal Murray Scholarship provides $20,000 per year in tuition support plus $5,000 for summer research or experiential learning opportunities to low- and middle-income students planning to enroll in medical school or dental school. This award replaces existing need-based aid awarded by the college for low- and middle-income students, including loans and work study. This scholarship was established thanks to the generous gift of William P. Dougal and Richard J. Murray, D.M.D. '80.
