Biography
Dr. Li specializes in Chinese film history, urban cinema, and the media industry. Her work has been published in the Historical Journal of Film, Radio and Television and Transnational Screens, and she has co-authored book chapters in edited volumes, including From Networks to Netflix: A Guide to Changing Channels, and Film Marketing into the Twenty-First Century. She is an affiliated member of the Transcultural Studies Program at Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf.
