Gregory Burnep

Biography
Gregory Burnep is an Associate Professor of Political Science. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of the Holy Cross (2009) and a Ph.D. from Boston College (2016). His research and teaching interests lie in the area of American politics, with a particular focus on public policy, law, and courts. His book, Courts at War: Executive Power, Judicial Intervention, and Enemy Combatant Policies since 9/11, was published by University Press of Kansas in 2021. He is currently working on a new project examining drug courts and other specialty courts.
