Biography
Alexis N. Goad is a Visiting Assistant Professor. She received her PhD in Social Psychology from the University of Arizona in 2026. Her research interests broadly include critical perspectives of the creation and psychological maintenance of socially constructed identities within antagonistic sociopolitical contexts. She is continuing research related to her dissertation work regarding the mutual construction of Native American identity within a settler colonial culture. Other recent work includes contributing to the co-authored book Credit, Cops, and Cages: A Theory of Capitalist Individualism (2026). She teaches Introduction to Psychology (PSYC 100) and Social Psychology (PSYC 227).
