WCHC 88.1-FM has been proudly broadcasting as Worcester’s only alternative source since Dec. 6, 1948. WCHC is the strongest college station in Worcester with a signal that covers a radius of approximately 15 miles.

WCHC 88.1-FM broadcasts 24 hours a day, seven days a week and serves as a source of alternative news and entertainment for the campus and Worcester communities.
The station also provides a platform for students to learn about radio broadcasting and gain hands-on experience in radio production. Student and faculty DJs are on the air during the school year between 8 a.m. and 11 p.m. every day.
