Request a Workshop
Academic Services and Learning Resources facilitates workshops throughout the fall semester on a variety of academic success topics. During the spring semester, we invite faculty, staff, and student clubs and organizations to submit a workshop request to assist your audience in learning more about different academic skills. Workshop topics include time management, note taking, study habits, group projects, reading strategies, and more. To request a workshop, please complete the ASLR Workshop Request form at least two weeks (10 business days) prior to the day of the desired workshop date.
Success Coaching
All Holy Cross students are welcome to engage with Academic Services and Learning Resources for individual learning assistance.
Professional staff members assist students with the various academic challenges and transitions they may encounter throughout their undergraduate journey.
During one-on-one appointments, students engage in a collaborative process of developing a personalized performance-enhancing plan. Students learn to set academic goals, manage their time effectively, improve their study habits, and learn about different Holy Cross resources.
Teaching students to embrace a growth mindset, ASLR empowers students and helps them commit to their academic and personal goals. Students leave advising appointments with concrete action steps and strategies to use moving forward.
To schedule an appointment with a staff member please visit Dinand 204 or call 508-793-2713. Unfortunately, we are unable to take appointment requests over email.
Accommodations for learning differences and ADD/ADHD are handled through Accessibility Services.
