President's Council
President's Council

Since 1967, President's Council has been Holy Cross' premier annual giving society. Those who give at President's Council levels have historically contributed more than half of the total dollars given to Holy Cross in any year. Fitton Society
Fitton Society

The Fitton Society is named after a Worcester priest, the Reverend James Fitton. In 1836, Fr. Fitton founded Mount St. James Academy on a hillside farm near Worcester. The society recognizes donors who have given from $100,000 to $499,999 to the College in their lifetime. Learn more »

Fenwick Society
Fenwick Society

Fenwick Society is named after Bishop Benedict J. Fenwick, head of the Catholic Church in Boston. Intending to establish a school for Catholic boys, Bishop Fenwick purchased Mount St. James Academy from Fr. Fitton in 1843.The society recognizes donors whose lifetime giving to the College totals from $500,000 to $999,999. Learn more »

Cornerstone Society
Cornerstone Society

Cornerstone celebrates the attainment of a total level of giving, in this case, $1 million or more. Cornerstone was the first society created at the College to recognize achievement in giving. The Fitton and Fenwick Societies extend the Cornerstone concept by celebrating other levels of achievement. Learn more »

1843 Legacy Society

Created to honor the spirit of philanthropy that has nurtured and sustained Holy Cross for more than 170 years, the 1843 Legacy Society recognizes those individuals who have thoughtfully included a gift to the College in their estate plans through a will, trust, retirement plan, life insurance policy, or life-income gift. Linden Lane Society
Linden Lane Society

The Linden Lane Society honors alumni, parents and friends who have given consecutively to Holy Cross for three years or more, and alumni out 1or 2 years who have given each year since graduation. Donors who have chosen to support Holy Cross year after year are the cornerstone of the College's success, providing the means by which alma mater can stay true to its mission and improve the quality of the educational experience. Gifts of any amount to all areas of the College are counted toward Linden Lane Society membership. Consecutive years of giving are counted by fiscal year, which runs from July 1 to June 30.
