Biography
Hallo alle zusammen!
My name is Cornelius, and I will be your German Language Assistant (FLA) for the upcoming 2025-2026 academic year. I am 23 years old and grew up in a small town in Bavaria.
After I graduated from high school, I started studying in Bamberg to become a secondary school teacher. My subject combination is English and History. Bamberg is a beautiful city with the perfect size — not too big, not too small. The Sandstraße is the place to be for Bamberg's great beer culture. Overall, you can't help but love the city.
In addition to my interest in languages, I love working with people. That's why all the jobs I've done so far have always been chosen with a focus on people. In my spare time, I am also involved as a soccer coach for a youth team.
Apart from soccer, I also engage in two other sports, namely Muay Thai, a Thai martial art, and basketball. I also developed a great interest in the USA through basketball and I am very happy to be able to be working here in this multicultural environment. I also like to sing, which is why I am also in a choir at university.
