Biography

Ciao a tutte e tutti!

I am Matilde and I will be one of your Italian FLAs for the 2025-2026 academic year. I am 25 years old and I come from Florence, city where I was born and I am studying.

I have a bachelor degree in Italian literature and I am now finishing my master in Italian linguistic, so being with you this year will be a great opportunity to apply my knowledge and share it with all of you.

During my academic career, I was lucky enough to study abroad for two years, once in Spain and once in Norway. There, I had the chance to see wonderful places but also to meet amazing people from all over the world. With whom I shared beautiful moments that will always be a part of me, so you can imagine how eager I am to meet you and create special memories together!

I am a sociable person who loves being around people because I believe that everyone has something to learn from conversations with others. Maybe this is why I love linguistics so much, because words have the power to create connections and relationships. One of the things I enjoy the most is traveling, and every time I do, I always try to have the most authentic experience a place can offer me. I also love animals and spending time in nature, so I am always up for a walk on a sunny day. On rainy days, I like to spend my time cooking, so get ready to try my culinary creations!
