Biography
Hello! Dà jiā hǎo!
My name is Dana. It's a pleasure to meet you all, and I can't wait to be one of your Chinese FLAs for the 2025–2026 academic year!
I’m twenty-three years old and currently a postgraduate in the Department of Chinese as a Second Language at National Taiwan Normal University. Interacting with people from around the world and sharing Chinese culture has always been my passion and goal. Teaching Chinese in various ways brings me a great sense of achievement—it’s truly an unforgettable and wonderful experience.
I was born in Taipei, the vibrant capital of Taiwan. My hometown is a beautiful island with friendly people, tasty street food, and a rich culture. From majestic mountains to bustling night markets, it’s full of life and warmth.
In my free time, I enjoy quieter activities like visiting exhibitions, singing, practicing calligraphy, and playing the pipa. I also love more active hobbies like dancing, biking, jugging, and playing badminton.
I’m so excited to begin this new chapter of my life and can’t wait to get to know everything about this place. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions—I’d be more than happy to help.
See you in August!
