Biography
¡Buenas!
My name is Camila, and I will be taking part in the 2025/26 Spanish FLA program. I’m 22 years old and come from a small town in Argentina called San Andrés de Giles, about four hours from Buenos Aires. You might notice that my accent is a bit different—even from other Argentinians.
I graduated from Universidad del Salvador as a Sworn Translator, but my love for languages goes way back. I’ve studied English for about 15 years and Italian for six (though I might be a little rusty!) and I’ve also been teaching English in my town since I was 16.
I am a woman of many hobbies—in true Argentinian fashion “me doy maña para todo” – I love painting, reading and playing cards. Music is also a very big part of my life, even though I cannot sing or dance for the life of me. Most of the time, you will find me listening to music and drinking some mate. This will be my first time ever travelling abroad! How exciting.
