About the Program:

The Mustard Seed Summer Program provides free academic and recreational resources and instruction to prevent summer learning loss for rising 3rd and 4th graders. We work closely with the Mustard Seed, a local soup kitchen that serves the Worcester community. Our goal is to create a mutually beneficial relationship between Holy Cross and families in Worcester, as well as creating a relationship with the community as a whole. We provide free education, two meals a day, and two field trips a week for the campers.

As part of day-camp's program, you will be expected to teach a 30-minute lesson at least once a week, organize and supervise camp activities (reading time, arts and crafts, sports), supervise field trips, hand out lunches, and help out with any other camp-related activities.
