The Office of the Vice President for Mission works closely with the president and the other chief officers of the College, in sustaining and promoting the distinctive mission of Holy Cross as a Catholic, Jesuit, liberal arts college. The Office of the Vice President for Mission also serves as a resource and support for existing programs at the College that promote its Catholic and Jesuit identity, and is responsible for initiating and sustaining new initiatives toward that end. Reporting directly to the vice president for mission are the director of the Office of College Chaplains and the director of special projects in mission. The vice president for mission serves as a member of the executive team (the president and vice presidents) and the cabinet. The vice president for mission staffs the Trustee Committee on Mission and Identity and is chair of the College Committee on Mission and Identity.
