Thomas P. Joyce '59 Contemplative Center

Location: West Boylston, Mass. (20 minutes from campus)

Anticipated opening: Fall 2016
Total cost: $22 million

As part of our overall campaign goal to enhance our Catholic and Jesuit identity, this facility will house our burgeoning retreat programs, including the Spiritual Exercises and Manresa.

The beautiful, cloister-like setting will create a new era of student reflection and discernment, and will support our continued faculty and staff development.

Features of the new center include:

  • 52-acre hilltop site overlooking scenic Wachusett Reservoir conservation area
  • 3,800 square-foot complex with chapel, meeting rooms and dining room
  • Accommodations for 60 people
