The Trustee Fellowship allows students to explore the College's approach to integrative learning by providing funds for experiential learning opportunities.
At Holy Cross, the pursuit of academic excellence means more than just the mastery of subject matter; it also includes the work to understand why it matters, using classroom lessons to make the world a better place. The College is committed to educating students who are prepared to take on the challenges of the real world, an approach that takes place both inside and outside of the classroom. In an affirmation of that goal, the recently established Trustee Fellowship provides funds for students to apply towards a variety of experiential learning opportunities. Trustee Fellows are students who have demonstrated a commitment to the College's mission, and the Fellowship offers them an opportunity to fully engage in the College's approach to integrative learning from the beginning of their time here.
Trustee Fellows can choose to apply their funds towards opportunities based on their own interests, including but not limited to a:
- Summer research project
- Summer internship
- Maymester study abroad program
- Fullbridge professional workshop
- Immersion trip
Countless other experiential learning opportunities exist here on campus. Just as no two students are alike, no two Trustee Fellowships will be applied identically. Trustee Fellows will receive guidance and mentorship in deciding which opportunities would support their unique path through Holy Cross toward their post-collegiate goals.
