The best thing you can do for your child in this context is to encourage them to start early, be persistent and resilient and avail themselves of the many resources Holy Cross provides students to secure internships and full-time employment.
The Center for Career Development staff is available to work individually with any student to identify internship and career opportunities congruent with a student’s interests and goals as well as coach students through the networking, application and interview phases of an internship or job-search. Students can call 508-793-3880, email careers@holycross.edu or stop by Hogan 203 to schedule an appointment or visit Career Development during drop-in hours, Monday-Friday between 1pm and 4pm and Wednesday from 10am to 12pm, no appointment necessary, to speak briefly with a Career Counselor.
